Overview

Dropshipping represents an ideal opportunity for existing e-commerce, mail order and even retail businesses to expand the range of products offered to their existing customer base. Please note that Eyewear Systems sells only to genuine retailers and businesses, and not to individuals.

Unlike many dropshipping companies we ask for NO upfront fees, NO minimum purchase and NO long-term commitment.

By joining you will benefit from a massive discount of at least 50%* off RRP for most dropship orders without having to make ANY upfront investment or hold ANY stock. You simply take the order from your customer, pass it to us, and we send it out for you in your company name. Reserve stock:  regular dropshippers can reserve stock for up to 5 days so you know the product is in stock before you list it - no more frustrated customers and negative feedback due to stock-outs

Core products: we pledge to keep high levels of core products so you don't have to worry about not being able to fulfil an order

Pay first, deliver later: great for auctions! Pay for an item as soon as you have an acceptable bid, then arrange delivery when your auction has finished, you have the best price and have been paid: you have the product guaranteed but can wait for the best bid, and if your customer is a bit slow in paying they know the item will be kept for them

Returns Handling: Just create a Returns Request and we do the rest. If you customer doesn't inform you and just sends the order back don't worry - we'll let you know !

Great P&P costs: just £1 per order plus Post Office rates based on weight - you can easily recover this with your own charges

Order tracking and history: you can see the status of all of your current and past orders

Delivery note: at no point is any mention of Eyewear Systems made, and no details of our company are included in the dispatch. The delivery note will simply list the products purchased with no reference to price or P&P etc. A return address is provided but no company name.

Delivery Instructions:  any special delivery instructions can be added to the bottom of the address label

Customer Message:  you can add a standard message to your profile which will appear at the bottom of each delivery note and optionally customise it for each order - great for promoting your business !

Fast dispatch: usually same day

Tracking Reference provided: gives you and your customers extra confidence. Recorded Signed For delivery means that your customers purchases will not be left on a doorstep to disappear. Tracking information is provided when a signature has been obtained - there is no intermediate tracking as you get with ParcelForce/UPS etc. For UK deliveries, if your customer is not in when their parcel arrives Royal Mail will keep the package at their local depot for 7 days enabling them to pick it up. After 7 days the parcel then returns to us.

How We Dropship

Take the order from the customer

Pass the order to us via our e-commerce system, selecting 'Dropship' as the Purchase Type - the discount is calculated automatically (the percentage saving is displayed in star in the top-right of the product information box). Our e-commerce system is fully integrated with our stock management systems - so you can only order products that are in stock

3.

Add the delivery details by amending the Shipping name and address details in your personal profile

4.

Confirm your order and make payment at the Checkout using our secure payment facilities (or arrange bank transfer / cheque)

5. Separately email us any documents you wish us to print and include, such as your invoice (not for Standard service)

6.

We will automatically issue an invoice by email to you confirming the order

7.

If you have not done so already, pay for your order

We will send the order directly to your customer (or you if you prefer) with a delivery note. We aim to dispatch the order on the same working day of receiving cleared payment provided this has been received by 2pm. We cannot guarantee delivery times - this is in the hands of the Post Office. Special Delivery guarantees next day delivery within the UK and 1st and 2nd class post usually arrives within one to three days.

We will send you an email notification that the order has been dispatched along with a Recorded Signed For / Special Delivery tracking reference. We will retain the tracking receipt for a minimum of four weeks. If there is any query over delivery we can provide you with the reference number so that you can track it on the Royal Mail web site and we will send you the slip on request.

Dropshipping Features

Stock Reservation

This service is especially for auctioneers and is only offered to our regular customers. Please email us to request this service. You can reserve up to 4 products for up to 5 days. This means that you can auction the items and be guaranteed that they are available to you if you are successful - removing the danger of negative feed because of stockouts. To reserve the item, just place an order for it as normal and select 'Stock Reservation Request' as the payment method. Please reserve each item as a separate order. When you sell the item just email us with the delivery details and we will amend the order to your preferred payment method and email you the invoice. After 7 days the reservation will automatically lapse and you will be informed by email.

Pay First, Deliver Later

This service is especially for auctioneers and is only offered to our regular customers. Please email us to request this service. Order and pay for an item as soon as you have an acceptable bid, giving the delivery address as 'TO BE CONFIRMED', and we will still hold the item until your auction has finished. This guarantees that the product is available to you, but you can hold out for the best price. Once you have been paid, simple email us the delivery details and we will dropship the item and send you an updated invoice.

Dropship Enhanced Service Levels

There is a small service charge for higher levels of service and should you require these, please select the appropriate level from the 'Dropshipping Services' category when ordering.

Please note that any headed paper, packaging, labels, business cards or promotional material you wish to be included in the package must be supplied to us in advance. Invoices and copy orders can be emailed to us for re-printing on plain A4 paper.
