FAQ

Q: Do Salclear products contain chemicals that are harmful to people and the environment ?
A: No, Salclear is an ethical company and would not select any raw material which is toxic, hazardous or damaging in any way. In fact many if not most of the chemicals are used in quality pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Generally speaking in the area of antifog technology, a  very specific range of wetting aids/detergents are useed in combination with alcohol solvents.

Q: What information is provided on the bottle labels ?
A: The labels provide full instructions for use as well as a caution against misuse. For cosmetic/toiletry type end use eg. Sinazo, Runlube, Atheletes foot spray, ear dewatering aids, the law dictates that we have to label the ingredients in our products

Q: Will the bottle labels survive if they become wet ?
A: The labels are printed on polypropylene stock with a clear overlacquer and waterproof adhesive backing. In other words they are chemically resistant, wash off resistant, and scratch resistant. In fact the label is as expensive as the container ! We tested our labels a few years ago by immersing the bottle in hot water for hours... the last thing we want is scuba customers complaining that the ink disappears when they get the bottle wet
